Microcinema

Art-house cinema is my favorite, expression and experimenting with new and hip techniques is great. It help people grow as artists, and there is a niche audience, as stated in the reading, that would watch these films. But watching on videotape or from a streaming service will not do it justice. I would prefer the real, physical copy. Even an individual frame cut from the master reel would be just great, because someone had to actually shoot the film, then pass it off to get processed. I think that one frame tells a story, it's history. The point I'm trying to get across is that nobody wants psychical copies of things. So that's why art-house theaters went out of business. But there are still some theaters in artsy communities and foreign countries that are still showing these films on actual projectors...like they did in the late 40s and 50s... Some art museums show art-house films too.
