Bela Belazas

Physiognomy... I did not know that word until I read it in Belazas' reading. But after looking it up in a dictionary, I found it meant "A practice of assessing a person's character or personality from their outer appearance". And that spiked my curiosity to how that relates to sound. The way I interpreted this article is can sound form a first impression stronger than a physical first impression? I think so and I think that's what Belazas is trying to say too. Sound is the most critical department in a movie, nobody will forgive bad sound. She also talks about "Educating the ear". If there were a way to hone our ears to pickup on the slightest sound, that would be so helpful.
