SOUND OBSERVATION II

Walking in, you will hear footsteps hitting the concrete sidewalk and the gentle late summer breeze rustling the leaves and pine needles on the oak and conifer trees. The outside noise slowly fades away as the subtle hum of the air conditioner enters, you hear the hiss of the automatic doors and go from footsteps hitting linoleum floors to the dragging of feet on the carpet. It was at this moment five o' clock struck and as I was sitting down on the padded office chair; I could hear the tolling of the clock tower, followed by the playing of our fight song. About two to three minutes later, everything was quiet, you could hear the clicking and clacking of busy fingers typing frantically with the occasional interrupting phone ringtone (some people have no respect for their surroundings). Then it is quiet again and the sound of keys clicking resumes.
