Sound recording experience

I thought the recording went well. We all got to use the recorder and had fun doing it. I found it nice that we got to experiment with the types of sounds and how one sound sounded like something completely different, and vice-versa. Personally I like mixing sound and I think this exercise was a great way to fine-tune my mixing skills; However, I wish there wasn't so much background noise when we were doing the on location recording. But I've learned my lesson and will go back at a quieter time.
