Harry Everett Smith

Smith was a crazy, beatnik, bay area experimental filmmaker. Most of his work was hand paintings on 16mm film strips... That was paired with live jazz music. That is true art, and the improv from the jazz band brings the art to life.. It brings it on two levels, sound and visual.
He experimented with acid and other drugs for mind expansion, and those drugs boosted his creativity.
