Light observation 2

2:26PM the late afternoon sun shines in my room, which faces west.
The hard light pierces into my room like a knife.
It casts distorted, hard shadows and those shadows contrast the cream colored sunlight that lies on my floor.
It looks like some sort of poorly carved jack-o-lantern.
Then on the opposite side of my room, there are soft, non-contrasting shadows, it looks very relaxing.
Back to my window...there are dark triangles, trapezoids, and distorted rectangles scattered across the room and carpet.
