What did shooting on film teach me?
I have shot on film before, but that was with color and I used the built in light meter on my camera.
This assignment taught me to make the best out of twenty-four exposures. To really think about the composition, lighting, framing, ect...
I learned that exposure is the most important thing, because B&W uses the grey scale. And you have to really think about how your subject is lit if you want to show the different shades of black, white or grey.
This made me a better photographer because I know how to compose a shot and "capture the moment".
